As a Clinical Research Associate, I feel privileged working in Africa. It is an increasing challenge and passion. Ensuring that clinical trials are conducted in our environments at the highest standards possible to fulfil the international principles is my credo.

Africa has so often been seen as a continent where people are content with low level quality. And that was said to be true in many aspects: economy, administration, hospitals, etc. I am happy to say and confirm that if that had previously ever been true, things are drastically changing for the better. Especially in the arena of clinical research on the continent.

I have been in this clinical trial arena for the past 15 years and I am grateful for the many lessons I learned so far as well as the great sons and daughters of the continent I met and continue to meet.

Africa’s got talent !

I mean educated and capable working people who are dedicated to develop their country, change the continent –and the world – and work on products that will benefit their population.

I am proud to be part of this adventure!
