It’s perfectly normal in our culture to be wishing you a very happy new year at this time of the year and month. May it bring you joy, health and contentment, for you and your loved ones.
It’s a great privilege for all Likak staff and me to count among your colleagues, partners, friends, and relatives. Life teaches us the value of precious relationships. Thank you for being there, each of you at your own level.
2024 has been a great year! We structured Likak better and clearly identified our 4 areas of services: Clinical Research, Health, Likak Academy, and Events. Our support departments also finetuned their processes: Communication, HR, IT, and finance. We were particularly blessed to identify very talented resources to lead each of these departments. The Events Pole has seen special growth this year as we were able to organize successful turnkey events that allowed us to advocate more on the need for Africa to conduct its own research. We have the people, we have more infrastructure than we think, and the demand is very high. In areas where we are weak, we have expertise in capacity building.
In 2025, we aim to consolidate our structures and processes, and get all that validated by an international certification. Likak Academy will spread its wings further this year, as the need for a skilled task force for clinical research is obvious. Our aim is to better serve our current clients and those to come, making of Africa a haven for clinical research, and the world a better place 😊.

To my Likak team, I express my heartfelt gratitude. We could never get to this place without your dedication, your hard work and your loyalty. I sincerely appreciate each and every one of you. It is a real privilege being your 1st servant.
Dear all, I strongly believe this year is loaded with great opportunities. Let’s go out and get them. Let’s bring all our dreams to reality! It’s possible and it is now. It only takes one dedicated step at a time.
